Batches? DDL? HEVC?!

(An archived post)
Hello everyone,
First of all, we thank everyone who helped us with our financial situation that happened in last two months.
We are still here now because of your assistance, seriously thank you for every donation.
We are a little bit busy with our lifes and don´t have that much time, but despite that, we will try to return things to what they were before the beginning of last year.
Thank you for your trust in us and your continued support. We appreciate you.
Now regarding this post, we have several points that we would like to mention:
1- HEVC vs AVC
2- Batches
3- The DDL
4- Discord
5- Subs Section
6- Delays in Final Version
1- HEVC vs AVC
As some of you have seen, we did a poll on Twitter and Discord to find out what codecs most of our followers prefer.
The majority voted for x265 which is understandable since it offers the same quality with smaller filesizes.
However, we know that many people don’t have devices that can run x265 easily.
Therefore, we’re not going to give up on the regular web releases.
As a side note: Properly encoding x265 takes a long time which will inevitably delay their releases.
2- Batches
We will start releasing the new batches in March, about 20 anime every three days.
3- The DDL
We have already uploaded all the necessary files to the DDL server and now there is nothing left except to add the dd-links to the main site.
This process may take a little longer, but if you want something specific, you can send us an e-mail or mention ShareAnime in the discord.
Note: The site appears empty for users that are not registered.
4- Discord
Join our community on Discord. There, you will find the latest news from the team (some news are only published over there) and you may find some channels useful.
5- Subs Section
As I noticed, many of you did not notice our Subs-section.
Please know that we add missing subtitles as soon as they become available.
However they are not added to the raws directly, you will have to manually download the sub file and apply it inside your media player of choice.
Note: The batches will contain all the available subs with all the fixes already applied.
6- Delays in Final Versions
Sometimes there are some delays with the releases of the final versions of Funimation’s Anime, and since this work is done manually, we do not always have time to deal with them in a timely manner.
The difference between the v0 version and our version is the typesetting and some smaller fixes.
It will not affect the watching experience that much, except in some highly type-setted anime where some parts are difficult to watch because there a lot of lines on screen at once.
There is one more thing, unfortunately there is no typesetting available for Spanish and Portuguese subtitles for anime from Funimation, but we hope that they will be able to add that in the future.
That is all for now.
If there is additional news, we will publish them on discord.
So, if you want to stay up to date join our discord community
